PBW breaking Bt cotton resistance — infestation crossed ETL in Amravati, Yavatmal, Buldhana, Wardha. Green boll damage 8-15%. Terminate crop before Dec-end to avoid carry-over.

1. Install pheromone traps at 8/acre — monitor moth catch weekly. 2. If catch >8 moths/trap/week OR green-boll damage >5%, spray. 3. First spray: Quinalphos 25% EC @ 2ml/L OR Profenophos 50% EC @ 2ml/L. 4. Second spray (7-10 days later): rotate to Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG @ 4g/10L OR Chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC @ 3ml/10L. 5. Do NOT extend crop past Dec 31 — this is the single biggest carry-over source. 6. Post-harvest: shred stalks + deep plough. Do not stack unharvested cotton in the open.
